Simple way to download videos from YouTube

Go to :

http://googlesystem.blogspot.com/2008/04/download-youtube-videos-as-mp4-files.html

Basically, if you use safari or firefox as your browser, you just drag this button to your menu bar, then, when you get to the youtube vid you want, you click on the button, et voila! the vid downloads automatically to wherever your computer stores your downloads (which is probably the “downloads” folder in your “home” folder.

They download in mp4 format, which probably any computer can play without adding any new software.

I love this solution!

Caveat:

Remember, any time you download something from YouTube, you should check whatever you agreed to when you signed up as far as the legality of doing this.
